4x4 Campout takes place on the traditional, unceded territory of the Líl̓wat Nation, within territory also shared with the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation.
This is a bush party and by attending, you're agreeing that you will take care of the land and be kind to others around you.
Emailed to ticket holders Thursday morning, 24 hours before it starts. 2.5 hours from Vancouver up the Sea to Sky, 30 minutes north of Whistler.
Pull off where the road's wide enough.
If there's a car in front of you, pull right up behind it and maximise space.
No open fires! Leave glass at home if you can.
Beach + bare feet + broken glass = bad time.
Decant liquids into plastic please.
Main site has plenty of camping spots, first come first served. If it's full, check the map — there are more spots around, a short walk from the music.
No drinkable running water on site.
MAKE SURE YOU BRING WATER.
There will be portapotties on site.
Headlamp or flashlight. Warm layers, it gets cold at night even in August.
Tent, sleeping bag, whatever else you need to camp.
Whatever you bring in, bring back out.
Don't count on it! There is some, but patchy.
Bring walkie talkies if you have them!
